The forward thinking approach to training and rehabilitation

Forthcoming Workshops

I am planning to run the next workshop in March 2012, at St Hilda's Church Hall, Crofton Park (Nr Lewisham). Please contact me if interested.

Introduction to TTouch

Learn easy techniques to help your dog relax and feel at ease - ideal for:

- calming your dog in the vet's waiting room

- helping your dog accept grooming easily

- increasing focus prior to training sessions

- helping your dog to self-calm more quickly

- increasing the trust and bond between you and your dog

This one day workshop will introduce you to the basics of bodywork (the TTouches). The workshop will be limited to 5 participants with or without dogs, with the aim being on helping you to help your dog relax using gentle TTouches. The workshop takes place in an enclosed Church Hall and tea and coffee will be provided.

PLEASE NOTE your dog must be comfortable around other dogs and people to attend this workshop. If your dog has issues with dogs or people please book a one to one session instead.

Feedback from previous workshops

"I went away from the workshop feeling empowered as I now have tools that I can use to help my dog. Thanks again for a brilliant session."

"Claire is a very calm and patient instructor. By showing how the exercises feel on the owners, we have a greater understanding of TTouch and how it is helping our dogs. The workshops are fun as well as instructional, and you'll have a chilled out, sleepy dog all the way home."

"It was fantastic to be able to experience how the different touches should feel before experimenting on the dogs."

"Really enjoyed the bodywork and groundwork, much better to have the hands-on experience with regard to touching the dog as it's impossible to gauge the amount of pressure needed from a book or DVD. Also to be able to ask questions and get feedback on my technique. Would definitely recommend."

"Highly enjoyable couple of sessions, would recommend TTouch to all dog owners regardless of whether they feel their dog has "issues". Thanks for a very informative time."
